Why do some congregations thrive while others stumble?

The answer has less to do with what we do in ministry and more to do with how we behave, relate, and communicate with one another while in ministry. We help people begin to see the life of a congregation as a whole. It’s then that a person can recognize the role that they play in that bigger picture. Once a person gains this perspective, new options open up for both individuals and the whole group.

THE FOUNDATIONAL WORKSHOP

Here We Are, Lord

This workshop explores seven sessions in six hours. You begin by identifying the strengths and peak experiences of your congregation. With those highlights established, you then learn about the Five Dimensions for Facing Challenge. Finally, you experience how recognizing the five dimensions in action help you relate and communicate differently.

This workshop works best with Church Councils or staff, but will benefit any small group or participant. The workshop will help your congregation to:

• Redefine the issues facing your congregation and generate new ideas to address them.
• Identify repeating patterns that create persistent situations.
• Illumine blind spots and discover new potential paths.
• Gain wiggle room where things appear to be stuck.
